 Greenacres is a Montessori Nursery
School based in Leatherhead in Surrey
and offers pre-school education, care and support for children taking them
from two years old to joining their chosen primary school.
The
pre-school years are an exceptional time, when good foundations can be laid
to maximise the child's future learning potential. We provide a safe,
stimulating environment catering for the individual child's needs using The
Montessori Method based curriculum which was developed by Dr.
Maria Montessori.
We
actively work towards the 'Early Learning Goals' within the foundation
stage of the National Curriculum. This covers foundation areas including
Personal, Social, Communication, Physical and Emotional Development. We aim
to prepare each child and nurture their natural desire to learn, allowing
them to take their next educational step as independent, self-confident
young individuals.
